Mirage
Oh this desert…it kills…you know that there is no hope to get any water anywhere but still you see mirages and you tend to believe that you are nearing it…you will be there soon…..soon you thirst will be quenched…oh you feel so good
Is it wrong? It’s just a hope…that drives you…an optimistic thought that keeps you alive…but still it hurts when you realize that it was not the truth. It was just a mirage.
It's nice chasing them...but chasing them for what? You can never get it....but still you try...why?
well may be because you know truth is too deadly to accept...and it is the only driving force that keeps you alive....and that is all that matters.

mirage .. confusion .. it all there .. the hidden truth rather the scary truth ..

we humans r thirsty of our own desires .... and we run away frm the truth tht they arent meant to be fulfilled .. tht they r jst outragious desires .. but then we r humans na !!
hope drives life... not every oasis u see is mirage. that's what life is about...
it is chasing after water but sometimes meeting mirage in way to water.

the story is something like this
men see mirages and then realize that they were fooled...but then finally the goddess of the desert decides to reward them by offering them an actual oasis.
fearing failure they refuse to hug the mirage and finally end up losing the oasis and die in the dreary desert
moral :- when you tread faithfull into the unknown ...you reap rewards.. faith is the key
completely agree with you nithin...it goes like this....you never know when it is mirage and when oasis untill you get to it....it hurts when its a mirage again...but you keep unning behind it again and again hoping that one day it will not be a mirage but a oasis....life is all about optimism...
Excellent post! I have written a simlar post on Mirages some time ago...my views were the same of life compared to a desert mirage...
